Radical Moments with a Surfing Photographer
This photo was captured on the North Shore of Oahu island of Hawaii. It was a stunning winter day in December 1993. This wave, known as Backdoor/Pipeline, is a popular but dangerous wave. I was using my favorite lens, the Fisheye lens. This is a great lens to use for closeup action photos.
