Hello dear internet people! How are you? Today I would like to join this excellent contest about our favorite series which I like very much because I am a big fan of the series, without further ado, let's start!
¡Hola querida gente de internet! ¿Como están? Hoy me gustaría unirme a este excelente consurso sobre nuestras series favoritas el cual me gusta muchísimo ya que soy muy fan de las series, sin mas que agregar ¡comencemos!
Riverdale
I'll start with Riverdale, whose first season was released in 2017 and currently has 6 seasons, created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, which is based on Archie Comics characters but set in the present. The main protagonists are: KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones.
Comenzaré con Riverdale, cuya primera temporada fué lanzada en 2017 y actualmente cuenta con 6 temporadas, creada por Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, la cual está basada en personajes de Archie Comics pero ambientada en el presente. Sus protagonistas principales son: KJ Apa como Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart como Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes como Verónica Lodge y Cole Sprouse como Jughead Jones.
Riverdale is a city where crime does not rest, and the protagonists always unite to solve the problems that arise. Although this series caught my attention because I am a fan of Archie comics and the group "The Archies" as I got to know it I got more hooked, although I have not been able to see it since last season since I have not had much time I hope to resume it soon.
Riverdale es una ciudad dónde el crimen no descansa, y los protagonistas siempre se unen para resolver los problemas que se presentan. Aunque esta serie me llamó la atención porque yo soy fan de Archie comics y del grupo "The Archies" a medida que la fuí conociendo me fuí enganchando más, aunque no he podido verla desde la temporada pasada ya que no he tenido mucho tiempo espero reanudarla pronto.
There are many things I like about the series and the music is one of them, especially the soundtrack of the third season. In several episodes the main characters perform covers of popular songs that fit perfectly to whatever is being presented in the story, I liked that they included a song called "Candy Girl" which includes part of a song by The Archies called "Sugar Sugar".
Hay muchas cosas que me gustan de la serie y la música es una de ellas, en especial el soundtrack de la tercera temporada. En varios episodios los personajes principales interpretan covers de canciones populares que encajan perfectamente a lo que se esté presentando en la historia, me gustó que incluyeran una canción llamada "Candy Girl" que incluye parte de una de The Archies llamada "Sugar Sugar".
Of all the soundtracks the one I like the most is the one from season 3, since they sing covers like "Daddy Lessons", "Back To Black", "Eres Tú" and "Jaillhouse Rock". If they were available in physical I would buy this one, and I also really like the soundtrack of the special episode of "Heathers: The Musical" of which I like several songs as well.
De todos los soundtracks el que mas me gusta es el de la temporada 3, ya que cantan covers como "Daddy Lessons", "Back To Black", "Eres Tú" y "Jaillhouse Rock". Si se consiguieran en físico yo compraría este, y también me gusta mucho el soundtrack del capitulo especial de "Heathers: El Musical" del cual me gustan varias canciones también.
From this series I really like the inclusion and development of other characters from the original comic, and the inclusion of characters from the same universe such as Sabrina Spellman (from Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina), also an Archie Comics character, since I also like her a lot I was very excited that the cameo was possible, although I have not had time to see the episode I hope to enjoy it very soon.
De esta serie me gusta mucho la inclusión y el desarrollo de otros personajes del cómic original, y la inclusión de personajes del mismo universo como por ejemplo el de Sabrina Spellman (de Las Aventuras Escalofriantes de Sabrina), también personaje de Archie Comics, ya que como también me gusta mucho me emocionó mucho que haya sido posible el cameo, aunque no he tenido tiempo de ver el episodio espero poder disfrutarlo muy pronto.
I also admit that there are some things I don't like about the show, such as some situations and changes in the characters, although I understand that they do it to adapt them more to the show's theme since the series is much darker than the comics, however, despite this, I like the series a lot. I recommend it to everyone.
También admito que hay algunas cosas que no me gustan del programa, como algunas situaciones y cambios en los personajes aunque claro, entiendo que lo hacen para adaptarlos más a la temática del programa ya que la serie es mucho mas oscura que los comics, sin embargo a pesar de esto la serie me agrada mucho. La recomiendo a todos.
The Good Doctor
My other favorite series is "The Good Doctor", whose main character is a brilliant doctor with autism, what can I say about this series? It is one of my favorites for many reasons, they have shown in many episodes very touching medical cases and since it started I never get tired of watching it although since a few months ago I haven't had time to watch the last season either.
Mi otra serie favorita es "The Good Doctor", la cual su protagonista es un brillante doctor con autismo, ¿que puedo decir de esta serie? es de mis favoritas por muchas cosas, han mostrado en muchos episodios casos médicos muy conmovedores y desde que empezó nunca me canso de verla aunque desde hace unos meses tampoco he tenido tiempo de mirar la última temporada.
The first season was launched in September 2017. Starring Freddie Highmore as Shaun Murphy, Antonia Thomas as Claire Holt, Fiona Gubelmann as Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as Alex Park among others, the series follows Shaun Murphy who is a young doctor with autism and savant syndrome who goes to work as a resident at St. Joseph St. Bonaventure Hospital.
La primera temporada fué lanzada en Septiembre de 2017. Protagonizada por Freddie Highmore como Shaun Murphy, Antonia Thomas como Claire Holt, Fiona Gubelmann como Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee como Alex Park entre otros, la serie sigue a Shaun Murphy el cual es un joven médico con autismo y síndrome del sabio el cual entra a trabajar como residente en el hospital San José St. Bonaventure.
Once inside, Shaun is supported by Dr. Aaron Glassman to combat the prejudice he initially engenders in the rest of the hospital staff. As the series progresses Shaun Murphy proves to be a very intelligent and professional doctor. This series made me understand a little more what autism really is, although I admit I started watching it because its protagonist Freddie Highmore is one of my favorite actors, the series became addictive for me from the beginning and I always looked forward to each chapter.
Una vez dentro, Shaun es apoyado por el Dr Aaron Glassman para combatir los prejuicios que genera al principio en el resto del personal del hospital. A medida que la serie avanza Shaun Murphy demuestra ser un doctor muy inteligente y profesional. Esta serie me hizo entender un poco más lo que realmente es el autismo, aunque admito empecé a verla porque su protagonista Freddie Highmore es de mis actores favoritos, la serie se volvió adictiva para mi desde el principio y siempre esperaba cada capitulo ansiosa.
Many chapters are my favorites (I can not choose just one), but I remember that the ones I liked the most are Islands pt 1 and 2, where the patients are Siamese twins joined at the head which after surgery are separated but unfortunately one of them dies in the operating room, which I remember made me sob, there are many others that I liked but this is the one I remember the most.
Muchos capitulos son mis favoritos (no puedo escoger solo uno), pero recuerdo que los que mas me ha gustado son Islands pt 1 y 2, en donde las pacientes son unas gemelas siamesas unidas por la cabeza las cuales luego de una cirugía son separadas pero lamentablemente una de ellas muere en quirofano, lo cual recuerdo me hizo sollozar, hay muchos otros que me han gustado pero este es el que mas recuerdo.
Claire Holt's character became my favorite character (too bad that after the penultimate season she stopped being the main character) as I identified with her in several aspects. I found it very sad when Dr Neil Melendez dies who had become her love interest as I had hoped they would end up together. The most hated character for me is Morgan Reznik as she seems a bit cruel and sarcastic at times.
El personaje de Claire Holt se convirtió en mi personaje favorito (lástima que después de la penúltima temporada dejó de ser protagonista) ya que me sentía identificada con ella en varios aspectos. Me pareció muy triste cuando muere el Dr Neil Melendez el cual se había convertido en su interés amoroso ya que tenía la esperanza de que terminaran juntos. El personaje mas odioso para mi es el de Morgan Reznik ya que a veces me parece un tanto cruel y sarcástica.
The only thing I don't like about this series is the exclusion of several of its characters, as I said before the exclusion of Claire and Melendez were the ones that disappointed me the most since I wanted them to develop their love story and I thought they were important characters in the hospital, although I also didn't like when they took out the character of Dr. Jared Kalu several seasons ago since I liked him from the beginning.
Lo único que no me gusta de esta serie es la exclusión de varios de sus personajes, como dije antes la exclusión de Claire y Melendez fueron las que mas me decepcionaron ya que quería que desarrollaran su historia de amor y me parecían personajes importantes dentro del hospital, aunque tampoco me gustó cuando sacaron el personaje del Dr Jared Kalu varias temporadas atrás ya que me agradó desde el principio.
Both The Good Doctor and Riverdale have been nominated for and won several awards over the years, both have been renewed for a sixth and seventh season respectively. Although they have been stretched out a lot, I think there is still a lot to be cut, especially The Good Doctor, which can get as many seasons as Dr. House and never get boring.
Tanto The Good Doctor como Riverdale han sido nominadas y ganadoras de varios premios a lo largo de los años, ambas han sido renovadas para una sexta y séptima temporada respectivamente. Aunque las han alargado mucho considero que todavía hay tela que cortar en especial en The Good Doctor de la cual pueden sacar tantas temporadas como con Dr House y nunca volverse aburrida.
