Amo el estado Lara y su ciudad crepuscular Barquisimeto. Quien la llamó así tuvo que haber disfrutado de sus atardeceres, los más lindos de Venezuela.

Esta ciudad, además de lindos crepúsculos, tiene varios sitios turísticos los cuales puede disfrutar, tales como; Santa Rosa, La Flor de Venezuela, Parque zoológico Bararida, Catedral de Barquisimeto, Parque el Cardenalito, entre otros.

En uno de mis viajes a Barquisimeto, en el año 2008, visité por primera vez el parque zoológico de Bararida. Me dio mucha impresión la diversidad de flora y fauna. Era una zona tranquila con mucha vegetación, con áreas de esparcimiento para todos los gustos. Dentro del parque se puede disfrutar del paseo en la laguna, áreas infantiles y de picnic, mirador de la ciencia, serpentario y el jardín xerófilo.

El serpentario fue el único sitio al cual no entré porque les tengo terror a las culebras, arañas y todos esos bichos.

A mí particularmente no me gusta que los animales estén en cautiverio, sin embargo, disfruté de la belleza de ver especímenes que no conocía, como avestruz, pavo real, jirafas, cebras, camellos, osos frontinos, entre otros.

También había para entonces monos, tortugas y diversidad de aves como loros, cotorras, tucanes, garzas, búhos, entre otros.

La variedad de plantas que allí se encuentran tienen un valor incalculable. Pude observar malangas, bambú, aves de paraiso, cactus, entre otras.

Mi familia y amigos dicen que el zoológico está muy descuidado y casi no tienen animales. No sé si es verdad porque tengo tiempo que no visitó Barquisimeto.

En esta oportunidad eran las vacaciones del año 2008. Viajé con mis hijos Jesús y Rosalba. También mi sobrina Luz, y mi esposito.

La atracción del parque era para esta fecha la jirafa Telcelina, llamada así porque fue donada por Telcel. Todo el que entraba al parque se dirigía a donde ella se encontraba. Estaba con las cebras. Era bellísima.

Las jirafas son mamíferos herbívoros originarios del continente africano. Están en peligro de extinción.

Las cebras tienen algunas curiosidades que no conocía. En primer lugar sus crías tienen las rayas marrones y estas con el tiempo van oscureciendo, y la especie va a depender del patrón de sus rayas.

Las aves también me gustaron mucho; el búho con su cara de seriedad, para mí era el calor que lo tenía molesto. También la cotorra loca tratando de salir de la jaula. En Barquisimeto el calor es agobiante.

El parque Bararida cumplió 45 años, es un emblema y forma parte de la cultura popular del pueblo barquisimetano.
Desde su creación ha fomentado la cultura ambientalista a toda la población. Además la protección al ambiente.

Pasé un día diferente, rodeada de la naturaleza. Comí cotufas, helados y cepillado.

Espero regresar pronto a mi ciudad adorada a compartir con mis seres queridos y disfrutar de los atardeceres que tanto amo.

Recuerden padres que deben tener cuidado con los niños cuando van de visita a algún lugar. Deben fijarse donde se encuentran las salidas de emergencia y los baños públicos. No olviden usar tapabocas y mantener el distanciamiento social.

I love the state of Lara and its twilight city Barquisimeto. Whoever called it that must have enjoyed its sunsets, the most beautiful in Venezuela.

This city, in addition to beautiful sunsets, has several tourist sites which you can enjoy, such as; Santa Rosa, La Flor de Venezuela, Bararida Zoo, Barquisimeto Cathedral, El Cardenalito Park, among others.

On one of my trips to Barquisimeto, in 2008, I visited the Bararida Zoo for the first time. I was very impressed by the diversity of flora and fauna. It was a quiet area with lots of vegetation, with recreational areas for all tastes. Inside the park you can enjoy the lagoon walk, children's and picnic areas, science lookout, serpentarium and the xerophytic garden.

The serpentarium was the only place I did not enter because I am terrified of snakes, spiders and all those bugs.
I don't particularly like animals in captivity, however, I enjoyed the beauty of seeing specimens I didn't know, such as ostriches, peacocks, giraffes, zebras, camels, spectacled bears, among others.

There were also monkeys, turtles and a diversity of birds such as parrots, parrots, parrots, toucans, herons, owls, among others.

The variety of plants found there are invaluable. I was able to observe malangas, bamboo, birds of paradise, cactus, among others.

My family and friends say that the zoo is very neglected and they have almost no animals. I do not know if it is true because I have not visited Barquisimeto for a long time.

This time it was the vacations of the year 2008. I traveled with my children Jesus and Rosalba. Also my niece Luz, and my husband.

The attraction of the park was the Telcelina giraffe, so called because it was donated by Telcel. Everyone who entered the park went to where she was. She was with the zebras. She was beautiful.

Giraffes are herbivorous mammals native to the African continent. They are in danger of extinction.

Zebras have some curiosities that I did not know. First of all their young have brown stripes and these eventually darken, and the species will depend on the pattern of their stripes.

I really liked the birds too; the owl with his serious face, for me it was the heat that had him annoyed. Also the crazy parrot trying to get out of the cage. In Barquisimeto the heat is oppressive.

The Bararida Park turned 45 years old, it is an emblem and part of the popular culture of the people of Barquisimeto.
Since its creation it has promoted the environmental culture to the entire population. Also the protection of the environment.

I spent a different day, surrounded by nature. I ate cotufas, ice cream and brushed.

I hope to return soon to my beloved city to share with my loved ones and enjoy the sunsets that I love so much.
