Good morning my friends and friends of Hive. I have just published a video with photos completely of my authorship, taken in the City of El Tocuyo in the Lara state of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela from the years 77-78 to the present day, many of them are paper photos and digitized, all taken to sepia to create an atmosphere of yesteryear. I have wanted to recreate the appearance of the traditions, their worshipers and worshipers, their tamunangue and veneration of San Antonio, its emblematic and colonial places. The music belongs to the Larense composer Juan Ramón Barrios, it is a well-known waltz and is performed by the Grupo Trío Tocuyo in the voices of Alfredo Pérez, José Pedro López and Nestor Landaeta.
He left them the letter..
Video Fotográfico Pueblito Colonial
Pueblito Colonial
Juán Ramón Barrios
Hay gran desolación
en el pueblito aquel
que me viera nacer
cuna de una ilusión
mi pueblo colonial
que no volveré a ver
ya todo terminó
ya todo se acabó
no hay patio ni jardín
tristeza de un ayer que fue
condenado a morir
Tu serás,
cual ave que su nido destrozó
mano cruel
que el destino, jamás lo soñó
si querer, cierro los ojos y me pongo a pensar
que triste está mi vida
sin mi pueblo colonial
Pueblito Colonial
There is great desolation
in that little town
that saw me be born
cradle of an illusion
my colonial town
that I will not see again
it's all over
everything is over
there is no patio or garden
sadness of a yesterday that was
sentenced to die
You will be,
like a bird that its nest destroyed
cruel hand
that destiny never dreamed
If I want, I close my eyes and start to think
how sad is my life
without my colonial town
