Afghan cinema that survived the Taliban

• Around 7000 Afghan movies which were saved
  from the hands of the Taliban are now being digitized.

• The project will open the eyes ofthe citizens to art that was from an era they never knew.

• The movies were heroically rescued by Habibullah Ali, an employee at Afghan Film the country's state-run film company.

• After decades of war, these movies will remind Afghans of an era of peace.
