My sister is here! Visiting, like every year during summer, once a year from Denmark, where she lives with her family, with her two little ones and her dear husband.
So it begins...a mini family 'vacation' trip, mostly because and FOR the little ones, but for us to get a chance to chat and chill...
We go to a place, where it's fun to go with a family and I'd say, skilled kids and teenagers. Why?There's so much to do here for teenagers as well! Archery, walking between cords up in trees with obsticles, trampolines, that seethrough buble that you enter and try to balance in water, etc. There's nothing much to do by one self, 'coz seeing all these kids and families come together and spend time together, might either make you into a total 'Christmas grinch' or very, very sad.
The place is called 'HBH'. I am pretty sure it is named after someone's names, but here is a little back story from their website :
'The first beer barrels were filled by HBH “Juozo" beer brewery on 1st of May, 1995, in a small village Žibininkai. A bar with three tables, containing only of 18 people, was equipped near the brewery for beer lovers. Thus, five members of Matulevičiai family, i.e., Rada, Juozas, Aida, Laura and Matas, succeeded to do everything: to brew the beer, to prepare tasty food, to service the visitors and to chat with them. The popularity of bar had grown. The second hall was opened in October, and a little bit later – the third, fourth, fifth one, etc. Building and landscaping works of new restaurant premises and kitchens, as well as the entertainment equipment works were started.'
The place has another 'park' near it, just around 600 meters away from 'HBH', which you can reach perfectly by foot, through a nice natural forest, that is called 'The Mill village'.
ME! I'm trying to be creative here! SHUT UP :D
The premises is made to look cozy and welcoming when you enter 'HBH'. Lots of flowers, bushes and little trees, places to sit, like this wooden bench, stones and stone walls for the landscape beauty. The restaurant buildings look like and remind you of "The Hobbit" and everything around looks great in the summer sun. The kitchen is great, the food is
Nature is really blooming, the bees and other cute little bugs are having a field day and the variety of flowers and petals.
in the Spongebob narrators voice I'd say : 'AAAAAh! SUMMER!...'
The picture speaks for itself, there's lots of stuff to do for the kids and for the adults too, to enjoy.
AAaaand we are back to being kids again! :D 'Coz hell! How much I wanted to join the carousel.
When you go for that 600 meter walk towards the 'Mill village' you get a greeting on your way by all these viking looking wooden statues and Big stone costructions.
At the 'Mill village' there's fields of these things, lots of sun, blue sky and just...nature.
Bean bags to sit on by a man made lake, you can paddle, go up the hill with a tire and go down a special slide, sun bathe in hammocks and for kids...oh boy! Anything and everything there is... Here's the plan of the 'Mill village' place :
Here is their websote in english, where you can explore their menu, entertainment adn everything else about!
