Hello Steemians, Hello Hong Kong
Silver Needle Noodle is special type of noodle from Taiwan south side. It's a traditional noodle made with lots of affords and time, the server said that it's not much people working on this now and, a seldom foods.
Since all the description and menus are in Chinese, even the name of the restaurant, that's a brief.
They have a lots of poster-like things saying their foods and how great are they, what ingredients involved and how to cook. It sounds really amazing.
The servers will ask whether you're the first time to come or not, they will tell you what you should try and what's the recommendations, very warm!
When you order, you can choose your own flavor and the side ingredients you want with Silver Needle Noodle. Basically the pork soup is the best, today I order the pork belly and duck meat. Duck meat is quite a MUST to have.
Have a closer look of Silver Needle Noodle, it's like penne but thinner, chewy in sensation but quite bland. The duck meat is better in flavor. It's enticing to make you keep eating.
This is what we called Faux Shark's Fin Soup with duck meat. It's really flavorful soup and thick. The white things you see are the duck meat. It has many ingredients and a mouthwatering food for locals and tourists.
Finally, bale and grass jelly with ice to cool down. It's a sugary thing, bale is something mellow but actually I can't taste much with this drink.
I would say this is quite a special restaurant in Hong Kong and people must try. I asked my Taiwanese friends and they don't even know what Silver Needle Noodle is, LOL
I will try again!
ENJOY!
