Slices is one of my favorite hangout spots when I need good desserts , food and specially made drinks.
The owner and operator is Canadian and has been living in Japan for a long time. I especially love their banana bread and ice cream but due to the heat they didn’t have any ready made today. Therefore I had something simpler.
A delicious crust with cinnamon and whip cream on top . It was crispy and the whip cream was not too sweet. It was a delicious balance of sweet, bland and spicy. It was so perfectly executed that my tastebuds danced with each bite.
There are many other things on the menu, I’m also a big fan if their cinnamon buns. Soft , warm and brings back nostalgic feelings of home awaiting grandma’s baking.
The spot is best known for its pizza hence the name slices - I live for the drinks there and the wings.
I had me a nice pina colada - after all it’s Friday. The dessert was after the wings and
Nachos without cheese as I’m trying to avoid activating the sinuses due to singing gig on the weekend.
I highly recommend this place if you pop into Osaka , japan for the rugby world cup or the olympics next year : tell them Jermaine / JJ sent you for some extra special live and care.
Do pop in for karaoke night or a live performance to enjoy some good music with your food and drinks: no reservations needed.
The ambiance is great and the staff and guest are warm and welcoming.
I was trying not to capture the face of guest so I caught only a part of the room.
