“My Weekly Choice Contest” DJ’s American Diner

Hi Tasteem and Tasteemians,

I am an Asian women and love Asian food but sometimes I do like to try famous international foods.

As I have family visitors from the UK, they prefer to try something international, so I took them to the American restaurant calls “DJ‘s American Diner“ which about 50 km away from my home.

Exterior & Interior:

This restaurant was an old gas station and may not look really special from the outside but the interior is really catched my eyes. Inside the restaurant give me the feeling of sitting somewhere at the diner in the US. The interior is in a typical American Rock’n Roll style , we don’t see this kind of eyes catcher very often around here. The restaurant reached a European‘s Standard and very clean.

The Menu:

They offer typical American food as burgers, fried foods, salads or cakes & pies in a homemade style for adults, kids and a Vegetarian. Moreover they are also offer modern local menu for the local taste.

Foods & Drinks

Here you can find typical American drinks and local drinks included cocktail and alcohol drinks. The taste of the food is good, mostly they use homemade products instead of American industrial products. It maybe not taste like real American food but the quantity is much better.

Service

The service here is very good, the waiters are polite and friendly, I have nothing to complain about 😊

Price

The price is regular for this area. We paid 70€ from 3 adults and 2 kids.

Special Offer

This restaurant offer a live Country- Rock’n Roll music program every weekend along with the delicious American’s cocktails.

My opinion

Although this restaurant is an American style restaurant but if you expect to find a 100% American food here, you may be disappointed. For the Vegans and Vegetarians , you may have a very limited choice here.
