One of Italy's most renown foundation in the heart of the city, St.Regis hotel's lobby is not only a place for hotel guests to enjoy the luxury of, but also locals and business people to stop by for a cup of tea or coffee in the middle of the day. Being conveniently located in the heart of the city, the hotel is highly accessible with just 5 minutes walking distance to Via Veneto.
The lobby recently went through a major renovation and is impressively designed to befit an emperor in its high ceilinged entrance. The grand lobby has been exquisitely redesigned with hints of powder blue and royal gold giving a clean, sleek, modern look to the century old historic area.
Breakfast / brunch
Living up to the standards of a 5 star hotel, St. Regis' array of menus in their breakfast is of top notch quality. Even the simplest of dish, honey for example, is fresh and undefeated in taste by any other hotel breakfast buffets.
Take a seat in one of their tables in the hotel lobby, and enjoy the atmosphere before diving into your menu. Their powder blue / grey colored walls are highly tasteful and goes extremely well with gold, white and black. Definitely pinned this color scheme to my mood board for my home interior styling concept.
As you bask in the beauty of the place, a waiter comes by to ask what drink you would prefer with your breakfast. Of course you have your selection of coffees, teas, juice, and whatnot, but if you're in a place this fine, a glass of Moet & Chandon champagne is called for. Unlimited champagne available since the wee hours in the morning.
Walk over to a white room that is white and metallic all over, looking rather sterile and clean. The kitchen has an a la carte station for eggs and pancake menus on the island table top in the middle.
Surrounding the island are an abundance of salads, cheeses, cold cuts, bread, desserts, etc.
Neatly arranged on the marble counter tops, parma hams, smoked salmons and various other cold cuts are presented with vegetables to go with.
The handsome stack up of cheese and vegetables seemed rather precariously arranged.
My first plate, which was finished in a matter of minutes.
