Food Sharing #121 - Pasta Pantry @ Pitt Street Mall, Sydney

Hi Everyone,

Sometimes it gets pretty busy at work so rather have a sit down meal at lunch, I will buy a quick takeaway to eat at my desk. Today I was craving for some salad and pasta so I decided to get something from the Pasta Pantry. They have a few stores in the city and popular office areas in Sydney.

All of the available salad and pasta are on display. You can choose from 3 sizes - small, medium or large. Today I chose the medium size which costs $10.80 and you have the option to choose 1 or 2 choices. There are loads of salads and pasta to choose from greens to roasts vegetables. You will also be spoilt with the carb options.

Today I chose chicken pesto pasta with cauliflower roasted rice. Depending what you order, you can have it heated up so it can be eaten as a warm meal. The meal was nice but I find the size is still a bit small even though it is a medium sized box. The larger one would be more substantial but it does cost an extra $2-3. Taste wise, you can’t really go wrong with a chicken pesto pasta. I am surprised how nice the roasted cauliflower rice tasted as it had nice sweet sweet potatoes with it. The texture was really nice and does go well together.
