A boost to localised and simpler supply chains would be nice. Getting some real manufacturing going in Australia is much needed but I think the bean counters will get back on the outsourcing (globalisation) bandwagon soon enough.

I do hope that culturally this is a big wake up call for many in the West. As a society we need to get some perspective and realise what is really important...and the scourge of reality TV with the narcissism and vanity that goes with it is not it.
