Making room for others
Hey everyone, I recently checked the tag for the first time in a while and noticed my posts were all over the trending page. I'd like to leave the tag free for newer members and those who aren't getting enough exposure, so I'm going to stop tagging my daily posts with TeamAus. I'll still post in here from time to time, but it will only be Australian/team specific content.
I'm so thankful to and
for getting this started - I'd probably still be making $2 a post if it weren't for you guys. Major dudes.
I'd also like to give a special mention to the whole discord crew ,
,

,
,
,
and anyone else I've missed. Sorry I haven't been around much - been running around like a headless chook for weeks now ... If you are a part of Team Aus, but aren't on the discord yet - get in there and run amok!
Centerlink Contributions
Don't worry - I'll still be donating to - just not quite as much as I used to!
Up until now I have been donating 20% of my post rewards, but as half of those rewards come in SP, this has meant I've been donating 40% of my liquid rewards. This has been a bit of a kick in the guts. After discussing with a few days ago, I changed the wording of my signature to reflect that I will only be donating 20% of my liquid rewards going forward. This will kick in a few days from now when the first post with amended signature pays out.
Apparently I have been the biggest liquid contributor to other than Aus himself - I challenge you all to topple me for that title!
It shouldn't be too hard: since switching to manual contributions, I've donated 242 STEEM. I was doing automated contributions for a couple of weeks before that, so it's probably closer to 300. I know it doesn't seem like much, but that's over $600 AUD and 's liquid SP is only 1750 or so, which means I've contributed close to 20% of that!
I encourage each and everyone, new and old, to do your bit for King and Country (Hail long may he reign) and contribute what you can to the cause. We have hundreds of members, if everyone contributed 300 STEEM,
would be a bloody killer whale. There's no need to contribute that much though, just do what is in your budget - if everyone just does their little bit and makes regular contributions, then the
account and this great little community will continue to grow!
To get everyone in to the spirit of things: 100% of the liquid rewards from this post will be going to
!
100% of the liquid rewards from this post will be split with for the communal benefit of #TeamAustralia
