Hola! my Aussie and international friends. I hope you are all having a fabulous Tuesday/Wednesday. I just watched a Jon Olsson vlog while having my lunch and now I really want to fly somewhere in Emirates First Class. Probably not gonna happen today though. For starters, I have to get this team update out.Â
Also, how nice is that photo? Credit to @intrepidphotos. It was taken in Wollombi Valley, NSW, and is only a few days old. Upvote it here. Â
The battle of the states is on!
Well, there's been progress since last week with Sydney AND Perth getting their shit together and coming through with actual dates, times and venues for their meet-ups. They've decided to go head-to-head with Melbourne and Brisbane just to make it a bit more exciting. I notice no one wants to go up against Adelaide and that's fair enough. My money is definitely on the mallsballers to win in terms of the best turn out.
Here's the latest updates in case you missed them
- Adelaide. Thursday 22 February, Jade Monkey from 6:00 PM. Details here.
- Melbourne. Sunday 25 February, Father's Office bar from 3:00 PM. Details here.
- Sydney. Sunday 25 February, the Bavarian at World Square from 3:00 PM. Details here.Â
- Brisbane. Sunday 4 March, Southbank Beer Garden from 2:00–4:00 PM. Details here.Â
- Perth. Sunday 4 March, Whiteman Park (on the Whiteman Park Pool Playground) from 2:00 PM. Details here.

I told him that wasn't at all necessary, but thanks for the very gentlemanly gesture. We've known each other a very long time and he's always been a good bloke."

Thank God that has been ticked when I brought her to the Joshua Tree 30-Year Anniversary Concert last year in Brussels."
Hmm, did you only date women who were also into U2? I'm leaning towards yes on this.

Well, if you're going to get humiliated by someone in the pool it's best if they've got an Olympic gold medal—or three—behind them.Â

The rules for joining Team Australia
If you’re not yet a member and want to be, this is what you need to do:
- Vote here for our resident steemit witness and our Minister for Welfare @ausbitbank.
- Send me your introduction post so I can find out a bit about you. If you’re new to steemit you'll have to write one so use the introduceyourself and teamaustralia tags to help boost your following. Use this handy guide by @teamsteem if you don't know what to write.
- If it’s not mentioned in your introductory post, tell me which city and country you’re in, cos let's face it, a lot of us live in Australia's fourth largest city—London. You need to have a connection to Australia to join.
- Tell me a fun fact about yourself. This can be anything. For example, maybe you have eight kids and three dogs, or you rode your bike across America, or you won the blue ribbon for javelin throwing at sports day back in high school, or Toadie came into the pub you work at one day and you served him a beer, or, maybe you can fit 55 maltesers in your mouth like Ed Sheeran can. It doesn’t matter what it is, I want a fun fact about you! The more fun, the better.
- Regularly check the Team Australia and Australia tags and upvote/follow the content you like. You can show your support by following the centerlink curation trail in steemauto. Instructions are here.
- Comment below or DM me in PAL-Discord that you want to join.
Once I receive this information I will try my best to write a good introductory paragraph about you for the official Team Australia membership updates. So the better your information is, the better I can make you sound. Where relevant, please use the teamaustralia and australia tags to promote your work. I will try and post weekly updates.Â

Are you an Aussie? Introduce yourself in the MSP teamaustralia chat! Â Â
