.
So for those of you that have been following my channel lately, you'd know that I'm currently uploading my old Youtube Woodworking videos up onto Dtube. If you would like to see some of the stuff I do, or just know who I am I'd urge you to have a look, but you'd probably want to turn down the volume. I was offered a radio interview the other day, I have the perfect face for radio, but I also have the voice for newspaper, so I apologize in advance.
Now I am under no illusion to think that I should be earning hundreds of dollars on my videos, I'm sure a drunk monkey could make them better than me. But people have found them useful over the past 12 months. So what have I gained out of Youtube hosting my videos?
That's rights Sweet F All.
But in the 3 days I've had videos on Dtube, I've made about $4. Sure I can't retire, but its $4 more than I would have made on Youtube.
So I think I'm going to go back to making content for videos, but I'm most certainly going to be posting it on Dtube rather than Youtube and posting the links to the videos on my Instagram and Facebook feeds, hopefully it'll start the trend of more makers such as myself bringing their content onto the Steemit blockchain and encourage beginners like myself to pick up the camera and film what they are doing.
