It's the echo chamber hour , we all love STEEM here on Steemit so let's self-validate some of the choices we have made by joining this platform.

Here are few UNIQUE reasons I think you may not have considered in the assessment of this platform/currency.

IMPORTANT : you should always consider PROs/CONs for any such investment , this post happens to focus on the positives.
1.Wild Card : Universal Basic Income
With advent of AI and automation we know that a lot of people will not be involved in the traditional jobs. A lot of economists have suggested that Universal basic income becoming a reality in such scenarios , so that , minimum living standards can be maintained for citizens.
With no need to be involved in the traditional 9-5 old school jobs , I see a lot of people spending a lot more time on internet and a lot of demand for new content and a lot more demand for new creators.
BAD INTERNET MONEY - a thing of past !!
2.Content marketing-
The more Steemit grows , more content it creates and it shows up in more google results.This is just a matter of time when interesting/topical subjects are covered on steemit it starts showing up higher in results.
Usually companies need to pay bloggers tons of money to spit out quality posts but on Steemit it's a self fulfilling prophecy. I think there is a tipping point where STEEMit gets critical mass with existing creators but for now it will do just fine with the home grown organic content creators.

3.Percentage interest on STEEM holdings.
In my limited understanding , I am not aware of any cryptocurrency which pays back a certain interest on the crypto holdings. Service like smartsteem.com ( run by 
It is also predicted that future apps / platforms may also be leasing steem power similar to what we see today but on a larger scale.
Those are really good odds ..like being world famous in your own country.
4.Youtube Pariahs
Granted currently Steem is not going to attract Youtube superstars ( Pewdiepie aka Gloria Borger) but there is a whole crop of disenchanted Youtubers who have been demontized by Youtube. Most of these fall in the politics/news genre and are currently falling back on Patreon to support their channels.
STinc should just go to Patreon top earners and start offfering them parternships with delegated Steem / gurranted payout for defined period.

5.Home page $$ numbers
Although those numbers are a bid misleading (bid bots and all) but that is a huge initial attraction attribute that is not applicable to other crypto-currencies. Surely the home page needs to be more normie friendly and less inside baseball but nonetheless those numbers are like the flashing billboards in Vegas !!
