So COVID19 is upon us and in Melbourne, Australia we are facing Stage 4 restrictions which means we are unable to travel further than 5km from our home other than essential travel.
I decided to use my extra time to get back into training.
The way I see it, I could continue to complain and pass my time away by binge watching Netflix and eating junk. But with a 3 year old and a 6 week old it is important that I set a good example.
So I've decided to help keep myself sane and to be a positive influence on my family I have started exercising more frequently and even going on bike rides with my 3 year old Tahlia.
I previously used to train but parenting and working took me away and used up alot of my spare time. Now that the state is on lockdown and the world is impacted by COVID19 it's important to boost both my physical and mental capacity in the event I contract the virus I am strong enough to beat it.
What are your thoughts on COVID19? How are you coping? Do you think this is the new normal?
