Good morning TEAM!!!
Its a cold and wet, miserable day here in Brisbane and its about time I gave you all an update on whats going on around the TA universe.
Firstly, sorry for being a bit absent lately, I've had a lot on my plate with the State election happening at the moment, plus actual work and a few "other" issues to work through.
So the charity drive is at a point now where I can start making approaches to companies to get the best value products to make up the packs for the kids. We have a bit of $300 in donations from all of your hard work, this should get us about 50 colouring book packs, hopefully more if I can work out a good way of "packing" them.
This coming week I'm making contact with the Lady Cilento Childrens hospital to fine tune the details on any requirements or things that are banned. I'm pushing to have this all done before Christmas, but I know a lot of other charities give away things at Christmas time, it may be better to actually deliver in January so we aren't forgotten in the sea of charities.
There are also talks going on with steemPH, Team Canada and Team USA about doing a combined 10,000 Flyer marketing challenge. Everyone in the teams would post a flyer in their area advertising Steemit. This only needs each person to put up 4-5 Flyers for it to be a success. Steemit Inc doesn't appear to be doing any marketing, so we need to take it upon ourselves to make this system a huge success.
