Last night I decided to get in touch with one of my ex-work mates and go for a walk, he is lucky enough to live just down the road from one of Adelaide's best coastal walking tracks.
After walking from Marino to Hallett cove and half way back, we decided to take a detour from the boardwalk that runs along the cliff tops and make our way down to the water.
While we were down on the beach we found an old gum tree that had been chiselled out to make a seat, and a patch of stacked rocks, within the 10 sq metre patch there were about 7 stacks with several others that had collapsed.
There were a few spots we had to climb around to avoid the water, but we ended up making it through without any wet shoes.
After trecking along the beach for a few kilometres without finding another set of stairs to the board walk, we climbed back one of the less steep sections of the track, jumped the rail and headed home.
