New to Steemit - Help Needed 😊

Hi my name is Donna, my Steemit name is the ‘Travel Princess. I’m still pinching myself this name was available.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve been travelling extensively. Around, September 2017, I decided to commence travel blogging my trips under the name the ‘Progressive Traveller’, in the hope that one day my blogs would be interesting enough for someone to read. My website is www.progressivetraveller.com

My third son, Jack (who’s a crypticurrency nut) put me on to Steemit and encouraged me to create an account and hopefully make some money!

Over the last few days, I have posted a few blogs and photos but not much is happening lol.

On Australia Day, I met a delightful Irish wowan Hive account@katyclark at Tumbulgum Tavern in Northern NSW Australia. Somehow, we got on to the conversation about Steemit and lo and behold she mentioned she has a Steemit account. To my knowledge, not many people in ‘my neck of the woods’ has heard of Steemit - the newish social media platform still in its infancy.

What’s the chances I’d meet another Steemit user in a small village (pub) with a population of less than 800 residents!

Anyway, my new Steemit friend Hive account@katyclark told me about Hive account@teamaustralia

Well Hive account@teamsustralia I’m very keen to be followed by you and your followers. My present goals are to promote my Steemit account, attract followers, connect with other Steemit bloggers and make an obscene amount of money 😂

Am I setting my goals too high?

Does anyone have any Steemit suggestions for this cheeky newbie? Your help would be greatly appreciated 😊
