Last April 21, 2018, I was invited by my beloved student organization to facilitate a Leadership Training Seminar. I really wanted to do this since this is my way of giving back to the organization that has really molded me to what I have become today. It was time constrained since we started late, but I hope the message gets through them, I hope they keep the passion of loving this organization burning within their hearts.
The goal of the first activity was everyone in the group should be inside the circle within 10 minutes. They finished the task in 9 minutes and 42 seconds (almost didn't make it). I suppose every year the organization experiences a different kind of struggle, and it is important that they know that they can always depend on each other. The activity is to teach them how to strategize and problem solve in a group and communicate in an effective way.

The second activity was called "mine field". They need to cross from one side to the other but they have to follow the correct pattern and they are not allowed to talk to one another. This is a way to improve the members' trust and their focus.

Their last activity was to create a bridge. This activity teaches them creativity, initiative and not burn one's bridges. It is important that you create new relationship and opportunities so that the organization will progress.
Again, this is Daphnie, your queenmother, see you in my next post. Let's keep on Steeming!
