#TeamGirlPowa & cobmaximus Collaboration: Funny Comic Strip Contest!

Hello, everyone!

As promised, we are collaborating this week with Hive account@cobmaximus for the Steemit Webcomics Funny Comic Strip Contest Week #10. We’re very excited for this contest, and we very much hope that you will make a funny comic strip and share it with us—there are four prizes, so give it your best shot! This contest is for anyone, not just professional artists. If you can draw a stick figure, that totally counts. Have fun with it. :)

That said, please make sure that your comic is pro-women and respectful. Judges will not be considering comic entries with degrading or hateful messages. Let’s have a fun and positive comic contest!

The Rules (per Hive account@cobmaximus):

• Make a post of a comic strip you made
• The comic strip has to follow this contest theme
• The comic has to be original and made by you
• Digital and conventional art is valid
• Use #steemit-webcomics as your first tag
• Also use #teamgirlpowa tag
• Upvote and Resteem this post and Hive account@teamgirlpowa post
• Comment this post with link to your entry so people can see it
• The contest is open until Friday, 11:59 PM UTC.

The Theme: Feminist Heroes for Hire!

Make a comic strip featuring a feminist hero battling gender inequality. Strips should be humorous and subvert gender stereotypes.

The Prizes:

1st Place will receive 10 STEEM
2nd Place will receive 5 STEEM
3rd Place will receive 3 STEEM
There will be also be a Wild Card/Honorable Mention winner, who will be chosen by the #teamgirlpowa community and receive 2 STEEM.
All prizes donated by Hive account@teamgirlpowa.

The judges will be Hive account@cobmaximus, Hive account@didic, Hive account@limabeing, and Hive account@corinneiskorean. They’ll be judging on Humor, Badassness/GirlPowaness, Uniqueness, and Cleverness. Bonus points for Intersectionality, such as including people of color, disabled people, LGBTQI+ people, working class people, etc. We’re not judging on art quality, but rather on the ability to convey gender equity and feminist ideology in a funny comic strip format!
