Greetings Steem It! Before I introduce myself, I would like to thank Mr. Alvin Auh (also a content creator on Steem It) for introducing me and my fellow teacher trainees this amazing platform. Can't thank you enough. I will work my best to create valuable and quality content!
So for a little self-introduction (I'm trying my best to not rant or write crap in my first post), my name is Aelvina Dewi Edora Alex (little fun fact - 'Dewi' in the Malay and Indonesian language refers to goddess which I am definitely not. My dad named me 'Dewi' after a female warrior which is one of the characters from a Chinese comic book he enjoyed reading.)
(The above image is a photo of my amazing parents and I. It was taken last year.)
I am 19 years old and I came from a small town (in Malay we call it as 'pekan'), Membakut. I am currently studying in Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) Kampus Gaya, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I am on a semester break and therefore I finally have the chance to compose my first post. Can't lie. I am excited yet nervous at the same time. I am quite conscious regarding my style of writing and afraid of what kind of feedback that I will receive. I love writing and writing is one of my way to express my thoughts and ideas better. Therefore, I started my own blog way before discovering Steem It. Sadly, I did not get to reach out that many readers, same goes to Wattpad (Yes I was also a freelance writer on Wattpad which what we called as the orange platform where you can read, write and publish your own literary work ranging from poetry writing, fictional/non-fictional story etc). I do enjoy writing on both of this platforms but I realised that I need a better platform in order for me to not only deliver my ideas to a wider range of readers (plus other content creators) but also for me to be able to grow and develop new refreshing ideas for me to share as a young-adult-to-be.
So here I am on Steem It, with a new refreshing and renew spirit! I have a lot more to learn so do not hesitate to leave your comment about any errors that I unconsciously made (grammatical ones especially sobs sobs) or any ideas that I can probably use in my upcoming posts. Thank you for reading and stay tuned!
