How many of you guys have the DREAM to TRAVEL THE WORLD !!
I'm sure most of you guys would love to travel the world... We have seen all the Facebook videos, post about people quitting their job, leaving everything behind and just travel the world... How awesome if it was that simple right....
Recently i was watching this Documentary on Netflix title "Pedal the World"
This documentary was shoot by Felix Starck from Germany. He basically travel the world using his bike and just bike his way around the world for 365 Days !! WTF RIGHT !!! Below is the Map where he bike....

I highly recommend this documentary to everyone who has the ambition to bike around the world. In the documentary he showcase his experience, shares his feeling, being abandon by his bike partner, loss of his grandfather while traveling, being sick, getting his DAD and GF to join him in some of his journey and the perils of traveling alone around the world.
That is really something. I take my hat off to FELIX for being brave enough to do this....
Lets not just think about EU citizens. Do you know there are a few malaysian who has done this too. Unfortunately we don't get a lot of coverage for Malaysian who does this kind of things unless you are into the bicycle scene or you know about it. I only found out about it through my cousin who ask me about it.
The Malaysia traveler is Zahariz Khuzaimah. His documentary name is "Dengan Basikal Aku Menjelajah"
Another Malaysian i found is Aedewan Mohamed Adnan who cycle 4,300 kilometres solo across 13 countries in Europe.
I really wish we would give more coverage and PR for these Malaysian but end of the day, the did get the coverage its just that we didn't take the time to notice or care about it until we become more interested in this kind of things.
Why am i writing this blog?
Well while watching this documentary,
QUESTIONS started to pop in my head.... They are:
- Would you dare travel the world alone ?
- Definitely i won't use a bicycle since i don't like to cycle
- No Motorcycle since i can't ride a bike
- What happens when i get lonely and home sick?
- What are the risk in travelling alone? Is it safe?
- How much money do i really need to be able to do this?
- The equipment required?
- Will my family allow me to do this?
- Well maybe if i can provide for my family the necessary financial income for them to live off and support from my parents and siblings in helping my wife taking care of the kids.
Experience to be gain
- Going extremely outside my comfort zone
- building up my mental and physical strength
- Understand the culture, people, glory, pains and everything else about other people culture and life.
- The amazing pictures and videos i will be able to take.
