For students, it's the most wonderful time of the year. The spirit of convocation. I'm glad both of my parents attended my graduation day back in 2014. I remembered you, Dad.
The day filled with smiles, laughs, tears maybe and reminisce all the good times as well as hard times I've had throughout the past severals years. Not forgetting the future might bring me until now. My graduation day was bittersweet. What I felt like end, is often the beginning. Surrounded by the peoples I love, especially my parent who have cheered me on for my years of schooling. Deep inside, I was thinking, "It's over? Just like that?" Seriously, I felt that.
November, 2014
For Dad on my wedding day.
Your little girl is grown up. I've become someone's wife. I know you walked beside me. As you have throughout my life, you held my hand as a little girl and then you hold my heart.
You may not walk me down the aisle. But you played an important part. You were so much more than my father. You were my hero, my confidence, my friend. You stay with me, held in my heart. Those things will never end. I know that you'll be with me. On that day I became bride. held within my memories, you'll always be by my side.
Love,
Youngest daughter
