Hello guys! I have always been wondering, do you guys have the similar problem like I do, when I buy a bathing gel, the size of the damn bottle is 2 liters, that's like more than half of your gallon milk bottle. Had I put it on my counter, it could possible break the damn thing and smash the entire bottle of bathing gel on the floor. It's heavy and it's inconvenient to hold with a soapy hand during shower. So, the next best thing to do is, simple! Pour it into a smaller container for easy to use in the future.
I learn to read the ingredients ever sicne I started to go on diet, and now I realize even shower cream can be commercialized as food. It said this is a royal jelly shower gel. I looked at the ingredients, there's absolutely nothing relates to bee and honey stuff. The last mentioned in the ingredient was royal jelly EXTRACT, but did not mention how many percent. Even 1 drop, and it still consider included in to the ingredient. I understand that, it's cheap. Which is why I only pay 8.20 for this 2 liter bottle, and that's like less than 2 USD.
Here's what you do. Usually these shower gel bottle has the squeezing mechanism that built to outlast it's entire bottle life. If you find one, that sizes just nice for your palm grab, keep the bottle. I have this 750ml bottle handy all the time so I can use it for refill purpose.
Here's the trick for pouring. Bath gel is thick and easily emit bubble. If you pour it straight away, the liquid will be folding air into it and start to froth. Use the pump from the tall bottle, stick it into the empty bottle, and use the stick as a guide and pour the liquid on the stick and let it slide into the container! Buttery smooth! The other advantage of having that pump stick in, is to use the air in that tube to keep a breathing threshold, so you don't overfill.
Before closing the pump, make sure you bleed the tube first, hold the pump down and slide it back to the continue, so you don't push air in. This way, you will be able to get the full load of bathing gel in the small bottle.
Whilst sliding the tube in, gradually monitor the liquid see whether it start to overflow. If it's getting very near to the bottle neck, start to release stress on the pump so the tube can start to take in some liquid.
Tadaa! There we got. Instead of a huge ass bathing gel bottle that always slipped off my hand, now I have a preferred size bathing gel. I can refill it for another 1 and a half time. It doesn't really help me save money or whatsoever, but having a comfortable bottle is my preference when doing my shower. I hope this small trick helps you in managing your shower.
