I Sacrificed For The Steemit Community

We had a celebrity #steemian Hive account@bitrocker2020 (the founder of #teammalaysia) coming to his hometown of little Labuan to present to us '100 Degrees Introduction To Steemit'. It was really, i mean really, truly really good, and information given was spot on and easy to understand.

During the event, i really do feel like a hero though by becoming the savior...lol (minta puji angkat bakul or in English 'ask for recognition and carry own basket'...lol). My laptop was the only one compatible with the projector (sometimes old bulky heavy slow laptop is still useful...lol) and provided good quality fast internet connection for 'LIVE' viewing on Steemit sites (for Labuan, that's the fastest speed you will ever have...lol). We have to sometimes say it together...loading...loading...loading...refresh..ok. I would say i am the 'STEEM MAN' of the night (sound so wrong...lol).

Now, the SACRIFICE. I sacrificed my SBD to show everyone that the 'CASH IS REAL'. Hive account@bitrocker2020 gave us a thorough presentation on how to withdraw your SBD or Steem Dollar to your personal banking account. I mean, to be frank everyone wants to see the 'kaching' $$$ right. There was a lot of processes you need to go through but eventually the whole process only takes 15 minutes to complete...depending on your internet speed and if you remember your personal email password....lol!

I had a balance of 9.846 SBD which i was planning to increase my Steem or Steem Power when the market is good, however for the sake of proving to the Steemit Community that this Cryptocurrency really works

...we sold all of them and got the money. I showed my current bank balance of MYR10..lol before the transaction was done and showed everyone the balance i had after the transaction at MYR165. Immediatetly everyone in the event was alive and suggesting on how to spend it...well, for me i just need to go back to my earlier post here

Showing everyone this was really satisfying...to see everyone's face leaving their doubts behind them and talking about it to other potential Steemians was just great. This time, when we talk to other potential steemians, we are more confident to explain how from nothing you can get something - WALK THE TALK. No deposit required, no proof of 3 months payslip required, no guarantor required...only;

We had a Q&A session where Hive account@diomandray has earlier prepared a web called https://www.sli.do/ for all questions to be gathered before the event. We went through all the questions and remarkably end up finishing the event at about 10pm, it was so informative that time fly's fast.
