Good day to all. The first day of 2018 and this is my very first post in Steemit. My name is Korie. To those who are fans of the local music scene about more than a decade ago may have heard of my music. I am a singer and also a song composer. I am the younger brother to Ella who is better known as Queen of Rock in the Malaysian music scene.

I am extremely glad to be part of #teammalaysia and it won't be long before my sister joins me on this platform. Hopefully we can do something for the music community in Malaysia.

I would like to take this opportunity to Hive account@perennial and Hive account@zhusatriani for introducing this to us. This is indeed something really special and new to us. I hope that this will stay and definitely it is a good way to reach other and give performing artists a new ground to earn an income.

These days I am no longer as active as I was many years back. My sister is still very active in the local music industry. I do song compositions and I help guide young artists. I hope to see many talented artists in Malaysia flourish with this Steem blockchain thing.
