A lot of people asked me about bitcoin and cryptocurrency and everytime I started to explain it, I always got the same respond. "This is very complicated and I will never understand it" then what's the point of asking, right? I never finished my explaination they gave up not even half way through. I'm not an expert in cryptocurrency but through out the years I learned a lot about it because I have a very high curiousity about it. I did all the things possible with bitcoin, trading, cloud mining, using it to buy and sell things and etc... the only thing I didn't do is the normal mining. All those I did out of curiousity but along the way I learned a lot about it.

Explaining bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is the hardest thing to do. Especially to those who already set their mind that this thing is too complicated for them to understand. Sometimes when the same person who already given me that response asked me again I just said "just google it, a lot of good explaination out there made simple and easy to understand". Not because I'm being rude or selfish but I'm tired of giving explaination that will be cut half way and I won't be able to finish it.
But recently I changed the way I explain it to those who asked. I told them that they don't have to understand the technical part of it, they just need to know how to get it, how to use it, how to trade it, how to send/receive it and how to keep it safe. That way will get most of them interested in it although some still think it is too complicated. I don't blame them, maybe they just want to know about it but forgot to open their mind and heart to understand it, common traits in most human, I guess. I know, maybe, my way of explaining it is not the correct way but it's hard.

Now, recently some friends asked about Steemit, for the first time. I don't have a better way to explain it except to ask them to sign up and try it for themselves. Not because I'm selfish or lazy to explain it but mainly because Steemit need to be explored by experiencing it. I joined Steemit in October but I left it idle for a month because I don't know what to to with it. Only recently I decided to explore it further.
So, what's the best way you use to explain about bitcoin or cryptocurrency to those who asked? And how do you make them to be interested in it so that they can understand it?
