We left off where we started exercising with Ring Fit Adventure on our Nintendo Switch.
In April, I celebrated BaeBear's birthday on Animal Crossing. We invited a bunch of family members to the event. It was awesome! Soon, BaeBear had her own channel after she was with me on mine for a while.
She has a good following now and many strangers subscribe to her channel and became new friends. She now has more followers than me.
In June, I celebrated my birthday with an Onde Onde cake that I ordered online. Nothing happened that day other than distributing cake in the office.
At this point in time, I am running so many things at once that I barely have any time to breathe.
I shall not talk about my projects as of now. But one of them is Cold Heaven.
I thought of giving myself 70 days to finish up work for my novel to get to a Pitch Slam to sign with an agent. Over the past few days, my objective has changed and I'm going to do take until September next year to get my book done. I have a lot of work to do and I've just given myself more time to do even more work.
The time has come to get stuff done. I've always been just a talker. But I am transitioning to doer and I'm just getting started.
NanoWrimo 2020 ML
Just a week ago, I have just been handed to the keys to being ML of Malaysia for NanoWrimo. I am so excited about what is to come this year. We are in a COVID19 situation and everything is going virtual. There are 2 parties.
That is the Kick Off Party and also the Thank God It is Over Party. I am thinking about having the party with Singapore, Korea, Japan, China and Hong Kong. I am going to try and make it happen. Since it is virtual anyway.
Might as well have a party with more people. OR NOT. That is by far too many people. Maybe a Thank God It is Over Party with everyone will be a good idea. But not the Kick Off Party as everyone will need to speak and participate in our long-running traditions.
Other than holding events, I need to do fundraising and also get more members. I hope that I can get more high schools and universities into the fold. That is going to happen for sure. I think for this year, I will concentrate on going to bookstores to get in touch with them. See what I can do from there.
Trips
One of the things wifey is super excited about is traveling.
So I am trying to squeeze as much travel time as possible into the year so that she can be excited about life.
As traveling overseas has been prohibited, all we can do is travel within the country. That is still a very exciting thing. We will be visiting places where we never thought we'd visit. That is places within driving distance.
Heck, we can just take the LRT to places we have never been before and explore. I am planning to go food hunting by driving around to spot places to eat. Then check it out before we put it on a list to visit later. We can only eat so much in a day and there are hundreds of even thousands of places to eat in KL alone. So we are going to be busy. Eating.
COVID19
I was hoping that COVID19 would be over by now. I guess we will have to wait for another 3 years before we can travel abroad. But all is good. We have all the time in the world to work now.
