I started off as an esports trainee today for Fortnite and I'm telling you... do not! I repeat. Do not make yourself a trainee until you have had some good skills and possibly already familiarising yourself with any game you want to play for participating in competitions.
I was so stressed after playing just 40 minutes of Fortnite because I was so darn stressed as I was dying all the time. I kept being killed right from the very start of the game. Some times I get in the game and I'm already killed even before I can find my weapon.
It was a total mess. I felt like quitting already right at the get go.
So now I am going to go on just to play for fun and get better at it. Give myself 1 year to get good at it and see what happens.
When a kids starts learning a language, they should be given fun things to do with the language without the need to master it right away.
I'm telling myself to master a language right from the start when I should be just familiarising myself with it and having fun so that my interest will grow with time.
Today, I spoke with Melinda who used to be a kindergarten teacher. She said I will have lots of problems with parents because why would they pay for something that they can already get for free to watch on Twitch.
Look...
What I am doing is not just setting up a Twitch channel. As Twitch has already started to advocate, we need to create communities that thrive with the channel.
At the moment, I am going to be focusing on grade school/ elementary school/ primary school children. That's my main focus and I will have to get in touch with the parents that speak Malay, Mandarin, and Cantonese too. I am setting up meetings to talk to them one by one.
I need to be able to verify the identities of the children before allowing them to be part of the community. M was concerned that people might abuse the system and come in as pedophiles to get in touch with the kids.
There is also the concern about my qualifications and experience. I was a tuition teacher before to elementary school kids. So I can somehow be able to know what the kids love and how to get them onto Project X.
Today, it is revealed that Project X will be for kids 7 to 12 years of age.
That's what is being revealed today.
I hope that things will slowly take shape.
I am solely working on Project X.
I'm not too good working with other people. So I think things will have to move with just me in it.
Thanks for reading.
