One of the reasons why I love being on Steemit is meeting with new people. It doesn't matter what our background are and where we come from, in Steemit the importance of networking and engage can not be understated.
What can you learn from an in-person meet up that you can't from a virtual one?
I have attended more than 10 meetups / bootcamps / masterskills in my country and what I love about it, besides learning and getting information is because I can finally get to know the real person in life and get to see the face behind the username. Having a real conversation is a great opportunity to understand their personalities, their perspectives, mannerism and most importantly to develop and boost self-confidence and self-esteem.
We could also discover new thing, as in, if we share the same interest and learn something new in the steemit world.
