I will try to keep this post in a Bo77as mode, also known as Minimal talk. Bonus points if you understand this pun :)
Last time I visited Ohrid in Macedonia I had some time for a walk around the lake and Samuel's Fortress.
To start with some facts about the lake:
It is one of the largest and deepest lake in the Europe and the largest one in the Balkans, covering an area of 388 square kilometers, with maximum length of 36.5km and width of 17km. Average depth of the lake is 155m, while deepest point has 300m. Since 1979 it is listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO, also in 2010 NASA named one of the lakes on Titan (Saturn's largest moon) by this one Ohrid lake.
Approaching the Samuel's Fortress.
And here are the viewpoints from the fortress.
Back to the city center, and it is already time to go for more lectures.
