Why is it that when we enter a new room, filled with people we do not know,
that somehow our bodies get a weird sensation, a system shock in a way.
We become somehow defensive, so we choose how we wish to present ourselves?
Like that instant polite facade occurs?
Making judgement on how we perceive people and how we are perceived?
You walk into a room and suddenly eyes fall on you and somehow, it seems as if you have something to hide? or its your moment to shine?

Is this human instinct? Anxiety?
Do we conform to what Tyler Durden said? " We buy things we don’t need, with money we don’t have, to impress people we don’t like"
In this case we sell ourselves, by potentially being people that we are not, in hopes that we are in the good graces , of people we might not care for.
I ask myself why this is, like life has this long list of rules that has not been written down anywhere for us to read, but, we abide by them...
We yield to what? For whom? and Why do we?
