In his book, The Gift of Dyslexia, Ron Davis talks about concentration as one of the "old school" coping mechanisms that dyslexics use to be able to read. Old school, as in not effective, or counterproductive.
Some of them concentrate so hard that it becomes a problem!
Kind of got me thinking about the concept of concentration/focus. We are told from a young age to focus.
But what if it is counterproductive because it prevents you from seeing the big picture? And thinking creatively?
