This spotted hyena den with its multitude of cubs is located in the Kaboso area of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the huge hyena clan is often seen out and about in the open areas between the any streams leading to the double crossing area.
The hyena cubs are of different ages but the hierarchy is according to the status of the mother, not age and you can see the interaction between the young hyenas confirming this.
