I will define street or roadside traders as those traders who display their goods along the roads or outside the gates of schools, companies, offices in town or cities, to enable passer by people to see it and purchase from them.

FEATURES OF STREET OR ROADSIDE TRADERS:
(1) They are normally found in a busy road.
(2) They operate in one point (that is, stay one
place and don't move around with their
goods.
(3) They operate or deal with low price goods,
etc.
ADVANTAGES OF STREET OR ROADSIDE TRADING:
(1) It requires small amount of capital.
(2) It stocks varieties of goods.
(3) Low price of goods.
(4) Accessibility of travellers, etc.
DISADVANTAGES OF STREET OR ROADSIDE TRADING:
(1) Goods are in limited quantity.
(2) Goods may be wasted because of not
having enough space to display them for
people to see and have access to them as
well.
(3) High cost of rantage, etc.
