Last Thursday night, 19th of April 2018, we camped at a beautiful spot in the middle of Umm Al Quwain, UAE. Residents of Dubai and nearby emirates would often go to this city to enjoy the scenery as well as its beaches. The prices of hotels are cheaper in this area as well compared to Dubai that's why we often opt to go here during the weekend.
This time, we were not here for the hotel accommodation, we visited a new spot in Umm Al Quwain to camp and go crabbing =) . We stayed there from Thursday night until Friday morning and it was pure fun and excitement.
We all brought our own tents where we could sleep and rest after the activities:
-look at our amazing source of light which is connected to the battery of the car..=) my friends decided to rest a bit.
- the kids enjoying their own campfire mallows. =)
- Marlette and Kurl, with the complete gear for crabbing =) . hahaha

-We somehow expected that we might not be able to catch enough crabs so we prepared other dishes just in case.
When the sun was up, the view was amazing! It was even perfect because of the cold breeze...
And finally id like to share the fruits of our hard work: THE CATCH OF THE DAY ! ( yeey!)
- Me, MArlette and Kurl caught all these. hahaha, I was in charge of holding the container of the crabs and they did the hard work..
When we reached home, we prepared 2 different dishes with what we've caught: Crabs with coconut milk and Steamed Crabs with Sprite.
Overall, it was a fun-filled and amazing experience. We all would love to go back and enjoy the breeze, food , view and most of all each other's company. Everything is fun if we do it together with our families and friends. I hope you enjoyed our version of happy " Teardrops".
