Each year more than 37,000 people flock to Austin for one week in March to participate in SXSW Interactive - one of the world's largest tech and media festivals.
SXSW (pronounced South by South West) is a place where corporates and start-ups such as Google, Samsung and Facebook host lounges and special events to showcase their latest technology and network to learn about emerging innovation alongside some of the world's best musical, comedy, and entertainment acts.
For the first time, this year will include Africa House - the first event hub showcasing the African entrepreneurial ecosystem at the international festival.
Africa House will comprise of a varied programme including roundtables and tech talks, startup pitch sessions, demos, and keynote presentations, alongside happy hours and networking.
Previous speakers at SXSW have included Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. This year's speakers include Melinda Gates and Michael Dell.
