The MWC, which took place in Barcelona, is an excellent opportunity to showcase its innovations in technological innovations. Huawei has introduced its new Matebook X Pro, its new laptop.
---Technical specifications of the latest Huawei born, the Matebook X Pro---
The latest Huawei, the Matebook X Pro, is an extension of the Matebook X, but with some new features. The laptop has a 13.9-inch screen of 3000 x 2000 pixels. This new model will be available in three versions, ranging from 1499 euros to 1899 euros.
The entry-level CPU Core i5 will have 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. The next model will have 8 GB of RAM, but with a storage space of 512 GB. , the Corei7 CPU model will have 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD.
The computer is therefore equipped with 7th or 8th generation Core chips. Added to this is a graphics processor Nvidia GeForce MX150, 2 GB GDDR5. There are also WiFi 802.11ac, 2x2 MIMO, two USB-C ports, and Bluetooth 4.1.
---Laptop with a removable webcam---
Among the novelties that may surprise, we note that the 1MP camera is no longer in its usual place. Indeed, it is no longer at the top of the screen, but below a touch of the keyboard. This will not be to everyone's taste, the positioning of a webcam directed upwards not giving the most successful images of oneself.
Note also on this Matebook X Pro the introduction of discrete graphics options. Nothing fancy except the eighth-generation Core chip. However, this remains progress compared to what can be found on this type of PC.
Another appreciable element, the battery, which would allow 12 hours of autonomy for video playback and 15 hours to go surfing the net. Finally, in terms of design the computer gives the impression of an edge-to-edge screen. The Matebook X Pro is expected to arrive in France in the second half of the year.
