Windows 10 was originally designed for touchscreen devices, but Microsoft is very much aware of its PC users who still enjoy using their keywords.
The emergence of WIndows 10 was a breath of fresh for many (myself included), It comes with Cortana, the resurrected Start Menu and new awesome Gaming features. It is a massive upgrade from Windows 8.
Here are some essential keyboard shortcuts that I use regularly, and they save me a lot of time.
Windows Key + A to launch the Action centre
The action centre holds notifications you might have missed, it also has a number of useful shortcuts at the bottom. It is a little box containing all the necessary updates, notifications that you’ll find really useful.
Three fingers
- Three-finger swipe down: Show desktop
- Three-finger flick left or right: Return to previous app (left) or go back to current app (right)
- Three-finger tap: Opens Cortana Search
Windows Key + Left or Right: Snap active window to left or right side of the screen
Windows key + Control D: Creates new virtual desktop
Windows Key + Control + F4: Closes current virtual desktop
