It's interesting that 20 years ago he understood what it could provide and yet he completely fails to predict what most of humanity would do with it.
In this interview he says that the access to librarys and knowledge that a computer network would provide would make everyone want to learn.
The internet offers all of that alright, but learning is not what most people do online.
