Officials of SpaceX, an exciting space research organization, succeeded in the successful Bangabandhu satellite-1 mission. On their website, the satellite was launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Friday. It is possible to reach Geostationary Transfer Orbit after 33 minutes of launch.
Falcon-9 block 5 rockets have been used for the first time to launch this satellite. This model was the final and updated version of the rocket. This rocket has been made in such a way that it can be used 10 or more by less maintenance.
The rocket launch stages were two. On reaching a certain height, the rocket phase -1 opens. Stage-2 starts working Then came back to Earth on stage 1 and came down to the Atlantic floating drone ship. Falcon-9's Stage-2 reaches Geospatial Transfer Orbit. Bangladesh's first communication satellite is floating in space. Then the United States, Italy and South Korea's three Ground stations take control of Bangabandhu-1. To make space in its own orbital slot 119.1 east of longitude, the spacecraft has to travel 36 thousand kilometers to Bangabandhu-1 satellite.
In a statement about the importance of this mission, SPSEX said that Bangladesh's first geostationary satellite was developed as 'Bangabandhu Satellite Launching Project'. Under the supervision of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), Space Partnership International (SPI) provides technical support. The satellite has 25 Ku-band and 14 c-band transponders, which have been created by Thales Alina Space. It has been built on the Spacebase 4000b2 platform, which will be run by Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL).
