In Dubai, the first test flights without passengers of a flying autonomous taxi have started. It is a Volocopter of German manufacture that in reality is not very different from a conventional helicopter, although it flies without pilot and propelled by almost twenty electric motors.
The idea is that the air vehicle will act as a taxi integrated into the city's public transport system, being hired directly from an app on a mobile phone. The aircraft has a range of 30 minutes at a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
