A year after introducing Firefox Focus on iOS it came time to release if for Android phones.
New Mozilla browser is completely different like standard version of fire fox, this time developers decided to remove all tabs and other visual clutter.
The main target of new browser is very hight privacy level, we are able to remove all browsing data just by single tap. Firefox allows you to browse web context without ads tracking and others social trackers.
The share of mobile Firefox (android) is close to 0%.
Do You think new browser is going to kick off Google Chrome with is the most popular browser on Android ?
I don't think so...
Firefox Focus is just an overlay on the android webkit, so probably we will never see the Greco engine in it
