I have flown the Dreamliner 787-10 on numerous occasions and has made flying pleasurable again for me. I used to always fly economy and have learnt a few tricks now to avoid being squashed.I am tall and don't just fit anywhere and I found out the hard way. My seat was between two over sized gentleman and I looked like a burger patty between two buns. I was moved into upper economy and this was pleasurable and haven't booked anything else since.

Economy, unless you are a midget this is not fun.
The price is a teeny weeny bit more, but we are taking less than 10 percent more and oh it is so worth it. I have flown business class before which is 400 percent more than economy and yes the difference is obvious, but honestly it isn't worth the money. Upper economy gives you similar perks like access to the lounge before the flight where showers and complimentary meals and drinks await you. Most likely you will spend more in the airport bar over a few hours than the increased ticket price.

The leg room here is fantastic and the seat becomes a lazyboy.
I hate turbulence and only after my first flight found out why there was none. The wings are fitted with sensors to counteract the conditions creating a smooth flight. Pretty cool when you have flown on some rough flights and have people around you doing the Hail Mary signs and crosses. It is funny to see, but not at the time. One lot threw blankets over their heads hoping the storm we were flying through would disappear.

Pretty impressive what the wings can do.
How many times have we got off a long flight and been sick for days due to the air conditioning spreading germs? Not anymore as this plane is fitted with special filters used in hospital operating rooms and guarantees no bugs floating around.
I originally chose this flight due to it's speed as it arrived two hours earlier than flights that departed before it. Due to it;s composite fuesalage and lightweight construction it is not only fuel efficient, but flies at 1000 Km /h.

I have heard reports that ticket prices between London and New York are coming down and are expected to be less than $100 over the coming years. This is funny as we expect everything to be going up. Since the 1970's air travel is 40 percent cheaper and is down to the internet and having more fuel efficient planes. The internet has created a price savvy public today and the competition between the airlines is a constant battle.
I read today that the A380 which is the giant of the skies is facing a battle as the Internationa Civil Aviation Authority has C02 guidelines for all planes and by 2027 it will fail them if it can't change. Emirates is the only airline that has orders up until then with them. It was so hyped as a game changer yet it has been outgamed by more fuel efficient aircraft today. The 787-10 is reported to be 25 percent less fuel efficient worked on passenger numbers.
