Well, seems Google is gonna go ahead and ship Google Assistant and Voice-to-Text...along with the rest of it's App lineup to cheap feature phones. You know, the ones that you get at Wal-Mart for $30 or $40 dollars.
MSN.com article HERE Go check that out. I'll wait.
Now...I am all for more functionality in a cheaper product. Hell, that's the American Way ain't it?
But......
Seeing as how most of these phones have substandard processors and lower volumes of memory, how does Google think this is gonna work? I know a person who has an Obama Phone. An Unnecto.
This is the BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT EVER MADE!!! a dual core 1Ghz processor and 1/2 Gb of system RAM. Yep...1/2 Gb. This phone can't run the Apps that it came with, let alone anything that gets downloaded on it. I predict a huge failure for this. Most of these phones are crap and they are crap for a reason. Adding a crap ton more apps to the existing apps that come with these cheap phones is only going to frag them down and turn a barely usable product into an unusable one. At this rate, we'll be back to using a phone like the one in the pic before long.
Thoughts anyone?
