Very clear writeup, To put simply for windows specifically, u really dont need to super tweak your BIOS, simply have a bootable device (USB Flash Drive for example), select the option to boot from USB hard drive by pressing the corresponding function button on PC power up and boom, u are booting from the bootable device.
