Robots and automation have been on factory floors for well over a decade. Almost everyone has seen Youtube videos of famed Amazon warehouse bots, cherrypicking inventory from warehouse shelves and neatly dropping them boxes that are ready to ship. Yet these are robots that operate within controlled environments with tightly coded parameters.
