Here you can call 8 megabits, and say 1 mbbit speed speed, the measurement in both cases is the same.
Because, Mb and MB are the same in two term pronouncements, not one thing. Here Mb refers to Megabit and MB is defined as Megabyte. Remember, you're downloading a 750 MB file, which means technically 750 MB in size, and at the same time its size is 6,000 Mbit (6000 Mb).
